Barcelona's partnership with Argentine club Arsenal is set to kickoff next month.

Around 40 young players from across Argentina will be head-hunted by Barca and Arsenal staff to join the club's youth academy with a view to eventually making their way to Barcelona's youth setup and B squad.

The final selection for the academy will be made between October 24 and 25.

Over 200 youngsters between 8 and 13 years of age had their trials last week, with many sporting Barcelona shirts with the names of Lionel Messi and Javier Saviola on the back.
