In 2001 YPT broke new ground
by flying in academy trainers from two
of Europe's biggest and most famous clubs: Manchester
United, of England, and Bayern Munich, of Germany.
The idea behind YPT's
Residence Program is to give motivated young players a
better understanding of what it takes to make it at the
highest level. For one week, selected players are
treated and trained as if they were 'youth
professionals' at a high profile club.
YPT's Residence
Program has
slowly, but surely become one of best summer training
opportunities in the United States.
YPT is
extremely proud of roster of coaches who have been

YPT's Residence Program is not for everyone and is by invitation only.
Because
of the quality of the trainers involved in the Program, and to
provide the best possible training experience, YPT works to
identify the best possible players.
Only 45 players will be
accepted into each of 3
age groups.
Each year we
start the selection process with a clean slate. Players
accepted into the Program previously are not guaranteed
acceptance in subsequent years.
All
players interested in being invited into this years program must first
submit a completed YPT player profile. No fees are required
until a player has been accepted.

"I give a lot of credit to his coach at YPT this
past July, Stuart Leicester from Manchester United ,
for helping Will get selected for the National team.
Stuart spent the week at YPT teaching Will how to
play defensive center-mid. Will took this knowledge
and played as defensive center-mid during the
qualifying process for the National team. I am
convinced that the techniques he learned from Stuart
helped him to stand out, particularly since Will had
never played this position before. If you are in
