YPT Residence Program

Only 45 players will be accepted into each of 3

age groups.

YPT's Residence program is not for everyone and is by invitation only. In order to provide the best possible training experience, YPT works to identify the best possible players.

All players interested in being invited into this years program must first submit a completed YPT player profile.

No fees are required until a player has been accepted.

2008 RESIDENCE PROGRAM INFORMATION

ARE THE DORMS AIR CONDITIONED?

No.....and Yes. The School originally did not have air conditioning, however, every summer they are installing air conditioning one section at a time. Considering ongoing renovations at the school and the fact that we are not assigned the same set of rooms each summer, we never really know how many air-conditioned rooms we will get.

MY SON'S FRIEND/TEAMMATE WAS ALSO ACCEPTED...CAN THEY ROOM TOGETHER?

On the registration form there is a space to list roommate preferences and players can list 2 roommate choices. Although we try as best we can to honor roommate requests we can not guarantee them.

WHAT DOES MY SON NEED TO BRING WITH HIM TO THE PROGRAM?

Several week before the start of the program a list, in .PDF format, will be e-mailed to you telling you what to bring for the week.

WHAT IS THE CLOSEST AIRPORT TO THE ST. ANDREWS SCHOOL? DO YOU OFFER TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT?

The closest airport is Philadelphia International Airport - about 40 miles away. Yes, transportation can be arranged to and from the airport.

MY SON WAS ACCEPTED INTO LAST YEARS PROGRAM. DO WE NEED TO SEND IN ANOTHER PROFILE FOR THIS YEARS PROGRAM.?

Yes. As the program becomes more well known, more very good players apply each year. In order to identify the best 45 players in each age group we start with a clean slate every summer. Players should not assume that because they were accepted last year that they will be accepted again this year.
